Practicing Tough Piano Pieces – For Advanced and Beginning Students

Don’t know how to get through a tough or difficult piano piece? Looking for better ways to practice new piano songs whether you are a beginner or advanced student? This lesson is definitely for you since we walk through the practice methodology on how to play those really tough piano pieces.

Remember that if you are a beginner, that you should start out by learning the piece hands separate. If you are more of an advanced student, you will want to try playing hands together right away. Keep in mind that you will want to break more difficult sections hands separate even if you are more of an advanced piano player.

In this lesson, we explore Bach’s Prelude in d minor from the well tempered clavier. This is a song I have never played before, but I can show you how much progress I can make in a half hour using correct practice techniques.
